Sagsresume:
Fastsættelse af mål og emner for strategidagen.

Konklusion, plan og PR-strategi:
1. Årshjul for SAKT: Bestyrelsesmøder, SAKT-aftener, strategidag, årsmøde/BBQ-dag – skabelon for årshjul (Maria)

2. SAKT-aftener: Hvilke emner? Hvad er vores kriterier for oplægsholderne? Skal vi have nogle kriterier? (Pernille)

7. Kursusvirksomhed: Supervisoruddannelse, godkendelsesbehov, kurser for specialister, peersupervision på advanced level, certificering (Stephen)

EABCT Congress Ljubljana 2017 – A look back by Mehmet Sungur, congress president
Distinguished members of the EABCT family, dear representatives and dear colleagues,
Organising international congresses such as EABCT is always both rewarding and challenging in many different ways. However, organising the 47th EABCT Congress was more challenging than ever due to the relocation of the congress which brought in many unexpected issues to be dealt. It is the first time in the history of EABCT that the location of the congress had been changed and we hope it will be the last. During this journey of relocating the congress, we passed through times of fear but transforming fear into freedom became our motto. There were times that we felt damaged but we did not take it as a defeat. We believed that what seems like a loss may turn into an accomplishment and there is nothing permanent except change and acceptance and a meaningful life can exist only in flexibility.
On behalf of the Turkish  Association of CBT, I would like to express my gratitude to our esteemed colleagues and friends who have generously contributed to establish a highly scientific program. Each of them became a rainbow in our clouds. I would like to extend my gratitude to all of the representatives for their kind promotion of the congress and to the 720 delegates attended to represent 57 different countries from all around the world. The theme of the congress was “Bridging dissemination with good practice” and we chose this theme based on the belief that dissemination is a necessary but not a sufficient construct and dissemination with good and ethical practice is now required for CBT to preserve its prestigious status.
Believing that learning never exhausts the mind, we have organised 16 pre-congress workshops, 39 in-congress workshops, 30 keynotes and plenaries, 12 masterclinician and skills classes, 5 round tables, 1 debate and many symposiums. We have received a great positive feedback from the audience and from many colleagues emphasizing that the scientific program covered a wide range of clinical practice and skills acquisition. We, as the board members of the TACBP, hope that all of the delegates found something meaningful in this congress regardless of whether they are a long standing supporter of EABCT or a brand newcomer.
I hope that you have all enjoyed the congress and returned home with some good memories. Although we would have been delighted to host you in our homeland to show our hospitality and different virtues of the beautiful city of Istanbul, living in a world of uncertainty we still enjoyed the challenge of organising the congress in the beautiful city compact city of Ljubljana and mostly building bridges instead of building walls. Thanks from heart to all of the attendees for coming and joining us and for proving that we are all little drops of water but if we stop dropping alone and merge we can be the ocean.
Cordial regards,
Mehmet Sungur
President of the 47th EABCT Congress

EABCT Nyhedsbrev 2017-1

Development of the „EABCT Mobile Academy“
During the first general meeting of EABCT in March 2017 in Ljubljana, the development of the EABCT Mobile Academy was taken one step further by an in-depht discussion with the representatives on the general idea and the current plans of implementation.
The aim of the Mobile Academy is to provide areas and countries that currently have limited access to CBT training with  high-quality training elements that cover basic areas of the EABCT minimal training standards. The first element of training that will start as early as 2018 is a curriculum of 200 training hours (organised in weekend long modules) that covers both theory and skills training. At a later point, other training elements such as (long-distance) supervision will be implemented. The training will be organised in close collaboration with local organisers and will meet specific needs of the population that will be trained. At later stages, e-Learning elements using tests to evaluate the learning process will be introduced. Participants will be expected to meet the entry criteria set down in the minimal training standards (e.g. basic training in a field related to CBT supervision which is dependent on the respective countries. Trainers will be expected to be at a CBT supervisor training level with teaching experience in the respective language. Compensation for teaching will be negotiated with local organisers, depending on financial capabilities of participants (minimum will be travel expenses and accommodation). Please contact the EABCT training Coordinator Thomas Heidenreich for more information.

47th Annual Congress of the European Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies – Ljubljana 13-16 September 2017

EABCT 2017: Let’s Talk About CBT
I am thrilled to say that CBT is not what it used to be 20 years ago. In the era of “Tailored Treatments” CBT has constantly reshaped its self in order to fulfil the needs of unique  individuals suffering from mental problems. It is a story of constant development which, hopefully, will never end.
This process attracted many practitioners and helped the dissemination of CBT. However this same process created challenges. Suddenly everyone became a CBT therapist which threatened the good practice of CBT. As Turkish Association of CBT we have been working for a long time like many others associations to bridge the gap between dissemination and good practice.
In line with this aim, we decided to make it the main theme of 47th Annual Congress of the European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT’17) which will be held in Ljubljana.  We hope to get together in beautiful Ljubljana with you, put our heads together and talk about “Bridging the Gap Between Dissemination and Good Practice”.
While planning the programme of the congress we tried to cover all disorders from schizophrenia to anxiety disorders and depression, age groups including children and adolescents, issues in training and supervision and schools of therapy that originate in CBT.
As you will see on our web site (www.eabct2017.org) many esteemed colleagues generously accepted our invitation and have decided to come to Ljubljana to  share their experience and opinions. This will give us the opportunity to hear up to date information and fresh from the oven research as well as foundations and basic principles for effective practice of CBT.
These topics and information will be presented as 8 full day and 8 half day precongress workshops, 28 incongress workshops, 15 keynotes, 13 plenaries, 11 masterclasses so far and many symposia as well as openpaper and poster sessions.
Unfortunately I do not have enough room to cite all of our invited workshop leaders and speakers here but you will find the list on our web site.
I want to remind you that our early registration will and at 28th of April. You may want to hurry to be able to attend the congress for a lower fee.
This congress is designed and organised for you. Do not hesitate to submit your research and presentations and most importantly try to be with us in Ljubljana to share the experience.
Regards
Yusuf Sivrioglu MD, President of The Organizing Committee EABCT’2017
Vicepresident of Turkish Association of CBT

EABCT Conference in Lubiana 2017: SIG panel On Worry, Rumination and Repetitive Thinking
There is an increasing interest in the psychopathological role played by negative repetitive thinking in the mechanism of anxiety and mood disorders. An expert panel of speakers will discuss different forms of repetitive thinking and their role in maintaining clinical disorders. Worry, rumination and other kind of repetitive and perseverative thinking styles contribute to both anxiety and depression (Borkovec, Robinson, Pruzinsky, & DePree, 1983; Nolen-Hoeksema, 1991). Empirical research has repeatedly demonstrated that repetitive thinking is involved in risk for anxious and depressive symptoms and episodes (Calmes & Roberts, 2007). This will stimulate an interesting discussion between the panel and other members of the SIG. In addition, the SIG will encourage discussion of different theoretical models and interventions which address the processes that maintain different forms of repetitive thinking.

The SIG on Worry, Rumination and Repetitive Thinking will launch a panel during the EABCT conference 13-16 September 2017 in Ljubljana Slovenia.
Chair: Giovanni M. Ruggiero

EABCT Congress 2018 – Sofia – Bulgaria
The arrangements for the 48th EABCT congress are progressing well. The scientific committee is Chaired by Paul Salkovskis (Bath, UK) and Pavlina Petkova (Sofia, Bulgaria). The committee has begun to develop the programme. The conference theme is “From applied research to quality treatment”, with the subtheme “Improving cognitive behavioural therapy and access to it across the lifespan”. Fuller details of the developing programme will be available on the congress website http://www.eabct2018.org.
As new participants agree to take part, we will include their details on that webpage. We are confident that with your help the programme will give participants access to the best in both research and empirically grounded and evidence based practice in CBT. As a bonus, Sofia is a beautiful city in the wonderful country of Bulgaria, and we hope some delegates will be able to make some time to visit the many excellent attractions Bulgaria has to offer.
The congresswill take in the Marinela Conference Centre.

“From research to clinical practice” samt en 3 timers workshop om ”Method of Levels as a transdiagnostic CBT”.
